Upcoming Workshops:

  • Fueling Performance & Active Living

Practical nutrition strategies for training, recovery, and everyday movement.

Whether you are training for an endurance event, working toward greater consistency in your workouts, or simply looking for better ways to support your body through movement, this Take the Journey Workshop offers practical nutrition guidance you can use in real life.

Hosted by L4L Community Studios and presented by Aligned Health Practice with Michael Horner, MS, RD, LD, this workshop will focus on fueling strategies that support performance and active living. While endurance athletes will find plenty of relevant insight, the workshop will also offer valuable takeaways for those who work out, train, or stay active on a regular basis.

Participants can expect discussion around practical meal and snack ideas, budget-friendly nutrition choices, event-day fueling considerations, and ways to support the body before and after training. This workshop also builds on the practical and accessible approach many appreciated in Michael’s previous L4L session, Nutrition on a Budget, while expanding into topics especially relevant to preparation, performance, recovery, and sustainable wellness.

The goal is to offer realistic, approachable tools that help participants feel more confident in how they nourish their bodies for daily movement, focused training, and active living as a whole. Whether you are a runner, cyclist, swimmer, fitness enthusiast, or simply someone looking to better understand how nutrition supports an active lifestyle, this workshop is designed to meet you with helpful insight, real-life application, and encouragement for the journey.
